A huge skiing resort in the center of Oslo? Yepp. Only 19 minutes drive from my flat you will find a fantastic winter park with plenty of hills for all skill-levels and many new comfortable chairlifts taking you where you want to go; Eriksen, Hyttli, Tårnbakken or Wyller. Parks with jumps and rails and pipes for those who like adrenaline. Oslo Winter Park usually opens around end of November or start of December. You can get there by subway train! Or dedicated busses. From my flat, take the tram to Majorstuen and then you can jump on the subway or bus there. And.. they are open until 10pm in the evening on week days! Enjoy.

Oslo is one of few cities in the world, if not the only one, where you can take the subway from downtown to a fairly sizeable ski resort. The view from the top of the mountain is worth the trip alone. One can rent ski gear or sleds up theres, lots of things to do.
