A national romantic idyll Tyresö Palace is a stately home belonging to the Nordic Museum, located in the municipality of Tyresö in Södertörn, south of Stockholm. It is in a beautiful location, surrounded by a garden and an English park, at the highest point of a peninsula jutting into the Kalvfjärden fjord. The palace was built in the 1630s but visitors today see what it looked like as a private residence around 1900. Note: Bus 875 goes there. Stop at Tyresö Kyrka (Tyresö Church)

This is an area around the castle with lots of activities like café in the castle and another one by the see. There is a big beautiful park and a market garden with a shop.
The palace "Tyresö Slott" also known as "Armadale Castle" was built in 1630 and is definitely one of the many things you have to see if you're in Tyresö. I's beautifully located and has it's own park. There are guided tours on Saturdays and Sundays at 2 o'clock in the castle during August. It's free for everyone under the age of 18, but 100 SEK for adults.
