Very nice hotel. Restaurant has good reviews and you can moor up opposite the hotel. It's a popular place for weddings. You could take our boat there, moor up for the wedding and stay overnight on the boat.
It's an incredible, a la carte restaurant in a beautiful setting (so many weddings are held here). The restaurant is set in a large conservatory, surrounded by a lake and the food is exquisite (and I can understand most of the words on the menu). If you are looking for a romantic restaurant with quality food, maybe for a special occasion, I would highly recommend booking here. It's not cheap but worth a visit for a special occasion. The hotel is approximately 22 miles away (30 mins away) straight down the M6 and just off junction 13 (so it's easy to get to).

You can dine here or just have a drink in this Michelin starred hotel and restaurant whilst watching the canal boats winding along the Staffordshire & Worcestershire canal.
English Fine Dining in Acton Trussell. This beautiful 4 AA star 14th century hotel offers silver service in a beautiful orangery, or for a more relaxed experience try the bar menu and relax outside by the lake in summer or if it’s a little colder snuggle up by the log fire. We went here on our first date so can highly recommend the food if you’re looking for something special.
