Another lovely trail to explore, it's about 4 miles round trip with some decent uphill hiking, ends at this gorgeous lake, where you can have a picnic lunch and hike back.

About 1 hours drive. Hiking area in Pioneer, California I've heard swimming in the lake at the end of the hike is a wonderful treat.
