Washago Centennial Park - (BOAT LAUNCH) Has a great sandy beach perfect for swimming, relaxing, picnicking, or playing. There's a pavilion for shade, playground for the kids, and plenty of grass for a game of soccer, frisbee, or any other activity you might want to play with your friends.
Large beach area and playground. Many summer festivals take place along our waterfront.
From here you can launch a boat, fish from the dock, use the public park for picnicking, swimming, day use only, or launch your canoe to access the Black River from lake Couchiching or a short paddle up the Green River.
Features: Sandy beach, seasonal lifeguard, accessible playground, beach volleyball court, food concession, parking lot, walking distance to downtown, paved 4-season multi-use recreation trail, washrooms. Washroom hours: 7am–11pm daily from May through Thanksgiving weekend; 8am–5pm daily after Thanksgiving weekend through April. Includes all holidays
