No trip to Brissie would be complete without going to Southbank Parklands. Rich in cultural history, South Bank’s Parklands saw their first glimpse of promise in its post-industrial-period when World Expo 88 opened the area up for public visitation. You can spend a whole day here! There are so many aspects to this park, from the river to the gardens to art installations as well as the beach in the city. Then, there is the theatre, museum, art gallery, restaurants and bars.
Must see Brisbane. can cycle or walk, but to be truly appreciated, catch the City Cat from New Farm down to the parklands.
Southbank offers local restaurants, beach and swimming pools. Festivals are also a locals favourite.
