Great cocktails. Interesting retro kind of vibe and a very interesting chef. Check it out if you want something more low key than Savio Volpe.

Crowbar is a neighbourhood restaurant and cocktail bar located in the golden triangle of Kingsway and Fraser in Vancouver's Mount Pleasant area. Flavours are simple, comforting, and unpretentious yet turned-on-its-head creative in execution. Opens at 5pm and closed most stat holidays.
