The old rail line was converted from "rails to trails." There are several locations close by where you can park and travel in either direction on the trail. You can take the rails to trails from Ashton to Tetonia. At one point along the trail you cross the Bitch Creek trestle bridge that towers 200 feet above the creek below. Planking and rails have been added to the bridge to make it safe. We love riding our pedal bikes or hiking on rails to trails. Great Old Railroad turned into a Bike Path. Lovely bridges and just a great open space to take a ride.
