Quirky pub selling good Cask Beer

Not for the faint-hearted: occasionally the small space is dominated by boorish shouty racists, but catch it when it isn't and this micro-pub can be a real gem, and guests have been known both to hate it and to declare it the best pub ever! It has a choice of three guest ales on hand-pump, ludicrously strong ciders on rotation (one appropriately named Suicider is genuinely hallucinogenic: you've been warned!) and sometimes both excellent and varied choices of non-mainstream music, DJ sets, impromptu folk and acoustic sessions and an increasing number of gig. Closes at 10pm; 9pm Sundays.
