Built in 1764, Martin Melck House is one of the oldest building in Cape Town. The façade and interior of the building was built by German woodcarver Anton Anreith, with much of the original Batavian brickwork still found in the foyer. The building is a fascinating museum in its own right for its beautiful design. It's also used for temporary exhibitions held throughout the year.
