Flamingo Oloiden Camp, just 6 minutes’ drive away, is our most budget-friendly recommendation. They serve good fish, nyama choma (barbecued meat), spinach, ugali (maize flour porridge), chips (and chapati if you ask!). It is a lovely place to sit right by the lake, watching the boats and nature around you.

Beautiful sunrise on salty water and fresh water where they uniquely mix. The campsite space is great for all.
