Here is perfect if you like an easy (about flat level) walk on the ridge of a mountain, 1900 meters above sea level, wonderful views, sleep in a mountain hut on the shores of a lake and collect some blueberries. It's windy and if your children aren't cautious, it's better don't bring them. Need a medium offroad car to arrive to the top of mountain.

Raggiungibile anche in macchina attraverso una strada sterrata dal paese della Doganaccia, La Croce Arcana è punto di passaggio del sentiero "00" della dorsale appenninica. Da Qui si può partire per raggiungere il Lago Scaffaiolo.
