If you can put politics aside (and let's face it, a lot of people can't), the Old Post Office is the second tallest structure in Washington, DC and it has been restored meticulously. The bar lounge area is the size of a football field. It is really quite remarkable. But some people find it tough going in. NOTE: you can take tours of the clock tower for some of the most incredible views of the downtown DC.
