Beat the summer heat at the pool! Keep in mind that there is a small fee for anyone without a DC ID.

DC has public pools available for free for residents throughout the summer. As a non-resident you are still able to use the pool for $4.00 entry fee. Great place to cool off and beat the DC summer heat. It has full locker room facilities and tables and loungers are available poolside.

Banneker is quite an expansive public pool with diving boards, lap lanes, and an occasional "adult swim". Plus, people on Yelp can't shut up about the "great people watching".
