Meander up from beach and follow the limestone cliffs around the Cottesloe Surf Club and you still eventually find this work of art and engineering masterpiece. The pathway takes you further along to a couple of other interesting creations and also down to the beach on the southern side of the rock wall.

The sundial was Cottesloe's contribution to the Bi-Centennial, commemorating the founding of the colonies on the east.
