Once the site of the Battle of Makahambus Hill, first of the the few battles won by the Filipinos during Philippine-American War, is now a scenic cave that is part of the tropical Macahambus Forest nature reserve. It houses a colony of bats and it is equipped with path and walkable scenic trails. One end of the cave leads to a veranda overlooking the Cagayan de Oro river.
