If you would like to get an idea of what old Ireland was like then this place is worth a visit. The road is narrow and steep, I wouldn't recommend it for the faint hearted but its landscape offers up a true untouched version of pre famine Ireland. The original famine village haa been restored and is used by visiting artists but beyond that is the real thing.
