5 miles away in our “sister village” of Bradwell (or “Bradda” as it’s known), the Shoulder is a popular drinking and eating establishment. A fine selection of ales and recommended for its menu - especially their Sunday roast!

The Shoulder of Mutton has a nice beer garden with views over the local park, and there's a whole ton of parking. It's dog friendly and good for families. Look out for the wildflower verge right outside the pub during spring and summer - it's one of the best in the village.

Bradwell - it’s your nearest pub - just a 3 minute walk from the cottage. Popular with locals and good food, book for Sunday lunch to ensure a table. Sport shown on TVs.
