One of the most iconic places in the district and well worth the visit for just a walk or a lovely picnic.
It a well spaced out large gardens with very old lovely mature trees and very nice surrounds for a picnic lunch or stroll through and see the ducks on the ponds and also some birds in cages.
Beautiful and well maintained, the Botanic Gardens were designed by William Guilfoyle who also designed the Melbourne Botanical Gardens.
Great playground for kids, lots of picnic spots and well maintained and diverse botanical collection.
