The best time to go up here to see the view is on a clear day or close to sunset. Entering Downhill from Castlerock , take the steep road on the left. You will arrive at the viewing point in about 4 miles. There are sweeping views of Donegal. The statue of the Sea God Manannan Mac Lir is interlinked with the fascinating story of the Broighter horde, treasure found on Magilligan's shores.
