The Zoo Negara features about 400 species of Malaysian and exotic mammals, reptiles and birds. Of these, the majority are fish and bird species while about a hundred are mammals and the reptiles. Don't forget to visit the Pandas. Its aquarium "Tunku Abdul Rahman Aquarium" is a very popular attraction. Zoo Negara is home to 5137 animals of 476 different species. Over the years, the zoo has transformed itself to an open concept zoo with over 90% of its animals kept in spacious exhibits with landscape befitting its nature.
