A great value-for-money ride through the foot of the Yorkshire Dales on a heritage DMU. Wonderful staff on-board, clean trains, good shop and facilities at Leyburn. The line runs from Leeming Bar to Redmire and is a great way to complete a return journey of a long walk or travelling first class and enjoying afternoon tea with a view. Plenty of events through the year like Santa trains, 1940's specials etc that can be found on the website

A personal favourite especially with children in tow (and if you like trains!) for the ride over to Leeming Bar and back. Steam days in particular are brilliant (again if you like trains!) and there are Christmas specials too.
