The Fakahatchee is one of the best places in the area to go on a swamp walk! Home to rare and endangered epiphytic orchids and bromeliads as well as the endangered Florida panther.
This is a boardwalk into the Fakahatchee Strand. It is mostly in the shade and there are a variety of nature you could observe. I have seen baby alligators, eagles, owls, osprey, roseate spoonbills, ghost orchids. You never know what you will see and every visit will be different.

They have an amazing boardwalk which will give you a chance to see some great flora and fauna.
There is a raised boardwalk that is generally good for viewing birds and wildlife.
