Few cities have democratized their waterfront better than Vancouver: you can stroll or cycle along a tree-fringed, wave-lapped walkway all the way from Canada Place to Kitsilano and the University of British Columbia (UBC). Renting bicycles and riding around the Stanley Park Seawall is a great way to enjoy Vancouver's largest park with ocean views. There are plenty of places to rent bikes near Denman and West Georgia Street.
