Florence Kahn’s Yiddish deli has one of the nicest façades in the Marais, made of blue and white mosaic. Inside, everything is homemade every day. You’ll find poultry liver pâté and smoked fish, delicate cold meats, excellent cheesecake, rich sandwiches, and onion rolls ready to be stuffed at home. Seek out the bags of ferfelis on the shelves. It’s homemade Yiddish pasta that’s roasted twice in an oven, giving it a very special taste.
