This huge park has the most incredible history—Henry VIII used to hunt here, and the Royal Ballet school is situated in the middle. It’s great for a run or long walk as there are wild deer roaming about and coffee stalls dotted around for when you want a break. One of our favourite places. Go and meditate by Pen Ponds at sunrise or sunset. It’s so peaceful and still.

Most beautiful park in West London - 7 mile perimeter trail walk - and lots of deer to see if you’re extra lucky!

Richmond Park is a royal park and is also a National Nature Reserve and deer park. Though the park is known primarily for its woodland and grassland, it is also home to 30 lakes and ponds. Perfect for nice long walks and sight seeing.

Isabella plantation The Isabella Plantation is a 40 acre woodland garden set within a Victorian woodland plantation planted in the 1830's Located in the gardens are the National Collection of Wilson 50 Kurume Azaelas (introduced to the west from Japan in the 1920's by the plant collector Ernest Wilson), large collections of Rhododendrons and Camellias, plus many other rare and unusual trees and shrubs which provide interest all year round. King Henry’s Mound This steep mound, located in Pembroke Lodge Gardens, is actually a prehistoric burial chamber from the Bronze Age and later was used as a viewpoint for hunting and falconry. It is thought that King Henry VII stood in this very spot when hunting. Now, it offers fabulous panoramic views of the Thames Valley to the west and distant view of St. Paul's Cathedral to the east. 'The Way' - St Paul's Cathedral Tercentenary Gates The Way’ gates are designed by artist blacksmith Joshua De Lisle and were added to the park in 2011 to mark the tercentenary of St Paul’s Cathedral. Located on the edge of Sidmouth Woods, you can see the gates through the King Henry's Mound telescope and enjoy the protected 10-mile view to St Paul’s Cathedral.
