Oslos finest beach with a nice café ("Anne på landet"). There is a very scenic short round track (30 mins) starting and ending at the beach.

At Hvervenbukta you can swim, sun-bath and have something to eat. A popular place for bathing.

If you like a sandy beach, this is the best beach in Oslo, I my opinion. My favorite is the part farthest away from the city center. The other part also has a section of grass and is closer to to toilets and a small kiosk. Get here by car, bike or by bus 88 Ingierstrand (from Bjørvika)

Good place for walks around all year round. Swimming and sunbathing in summer.
