There are lots of cute shops on the short Main Street, including Casa Lucia, a Mexican store with colourful pottery and silver jewellery, and Kokito, with sustainably generated products. While in town stop by Slicker's. for an ice cream cone.

Bloomfield is the quietest of the three big towns next to Picton and Wellington, but it has charming homes and shops, plus a few restaurants.
