Great local cheese shop. The cheese is made directly in the building. The farm has a “milk tunnel” that they use to transport milk from the cows at the top of the mountain to the village. They make a great fondue mix.

Für Käseliebhaber kann ich die Käserei, auf Rätoromanisch „Cascharia“, in Lumbrein wärmstens empfehlen (8.30-9.00 und 17.30-19.00). Die Milch kommt mit einer Pipeline direkt von der Alp und der Alpkäse und die Alpbutter sind ausgezeichnet.
