An amazing thing to find in Wisconsin, a 12th-century style Stav Church based on drawings of one built in Borgund, Norway in 1150 AD. It's up on the island so it's a day trip to get here, but there's more Norwegian architecture to see beside this.
A must see on the Island. A peaceful Prayer Path filled with colorful native flora leads to this beautifully inspired church similar to one built in Borgund, Norway around 1150 AD. Fully completed in 1999 after many native Islanders dedicated their spare time, it is now owned and operated by Trinity Lutheran Church across the street.
