The main hike up is closed due to a rock slide, but you can still access it via the East side of the park. Ask a park ranger to guide you, but you will take a dirt road to get to it. Please make sure you check with rangers on road conditions and assess how your vehicle will do.
Observation Point is a lesser known hike than Angel's Landing but is even more spectacular, I feel, when you get to the top. It actually looks down on Angel's Landing and has more views. It is an 8 mile hike up and back.
This amazing viewpoint hike offers a gorgeous perspective that looks down on Angel’s Landing, Cable Mountain to your left, and a stunning down-canyon vista. Trailhead is a short 5 minute drive from our cabin!
