There is a short but very useful light rail transit system (The "T") that runs between Downtown Pittsburgh and the North and South Sides. The best part, however, is it is FREE. Gateway Station is pretty much the central stop Downtown. Stops on the North Side are by PNC Park, Heinz Field and the Casino.

Easy to park near this T Station (Pittsburghese for Subway) and then take the T for free over to the north shore for Pirates or Steelers games!
