Fen Drayton Lakes is a complex of lakes, lagoons, ponds and a river, situated close to Fen Drayton, Holywell and Swavesey in Cambridgeshire, England. The complex was formerly a gravel extraction site until 1992 when gravel production ceased, and the pits were allowed to flood to provide a nature reserve and bird sanctuary.
There are three reserve trails, connecting a network of existing footpaths and bridleways for lots of walking options. The trails will take you through some of the most important habitats on the reserve, giving you a chance to get close to all sorts of wildlife. Take in the views and revel in the wide skies from one of our many viewpoints.
