With over 260 castles, stately homes and ruins dotting its landscape, Aberdeenshire is unsurprisingly known as 'Scotland's Castle Country.' Fyvie Castle is one of our favourites for children and adults - good cafe as well.
his magnificent fortress in the heart of Aberdeenshire is a breathtaking vision of towers and turrets with a history stretching back 800 years.
