One block from the airbnb is Duke's east campus. There is a walking trail that follows it's circumference. Great for an afternoon walk.

There is an excellent 1.75 mile jogging loop around Duke's East campus. All gravel with only minor hills. Just be careful: the sun exposure can be brutal on hot summer days!

The "Duke Wall" is a gravel trail encompassing the Duke east campus, which is popular to local residents. One lap is 1.5 miles. It is located across from Whole Foods.
