One of the country’s oldest living oak trees in a beautiful setting. A twenty minute drive to car park. Worth the drive for the fresh air and Forest.
The Knightwood Oak is the largest, and perhaps most famous, oak tree in the New Forest. It is also known as the Queen of the Forest. It is over 500 years old and has a girth of 7.38 metres! There are picnic benches to eat at. Great place to walk from and see lots of Forest ponies
