Nikos Xylouris (1936 - 1980) was a Greek singer, Cretan Lyra player and composer. He is one of the most renowned and beloved Greek folk musicians. In Anogeia, in Perachori square, you can visit his house, which is now a museum where you can find memorabilia about his life and work.
