This nature reserve is a precious sanctuary for marine life: sea turtles and other marine life that flourishes on Esterillos beach. The reserve is home to several species of monkeys and tropical birds. Punta Mala reserve is nice beach hike, or bike ride, from the center of town and worth the effort for any nature lover.
