Downtown’s historic theatre district is one of the most culturally significant stretches of Los Angeles. A dozen movie palaces, many dating back to the early 1900s, the area is in the middle of a renaissance, anchored by Ace Hotel ,shops and restaurants on one end and Grand Central Market on the other.
