This used to be our neighborhood coffee shop, and we love the owner, Helen, and all the baristas. Helen is a coffee expert, and she even recently placed fourth in the US Cup Tasters Championship. They make a mean latte, but if you want something really high-end and special, they can hook you up, too. It's near the Galleria, so if you're going there, stop by Luce first.
