The is a walkway/cycle track that is part of the Queenstown Trail network. An absolutely brilliant network of trails that will take you from Queenstown to Kelvin Heights, out to Arrowtown and beyond. Totally free of charge but you may need to hire a bike. The views and special places you will on this trail you will remember for ever!

This walking track is easy. It takes you along the lakes edge either across the Kelvin Heights (left) or stroll for an hour to central Queenstown (right).

The Frankton Arm walkway is also wheelchair-friendly and the relatively flat trail leads all the way to Frankton alongside the sparkling waters of Lake Wakatipu. Marvel at lake-side houses and gardens, watch planes land at the airport and stop here and there at the beach, or at the marina for a café break.
