Legend has it that Opa is the oldest living tree on Bowen Island at 1000 years! Located on the beautiful grounds of Xenia retreat.

Opa is a 1000 yr old Douglas Fir tree, located near the entrance of a private retreat property (Xenia) off Mt. Gardner rd. A great place for taking deep breaths and being in awe of nature. The tree ("Opa") is on a part of the property that is accessible to the public, and is a short, flat walk from where you park near the entrance of Xenia. There are benches for sitting below and staring up at this giant, ancient, beauty. Most easily accessed by car.
