Great for a nice long, sightseeing, bike riding. A few places in the park to have a hot drink, snacks, cold drink, ice cream etc

Sutton Park is a 2,400 acre National Nature Reserve located 6 miles north of the city centre. It’s one of the largest urban parks in Europe and is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The park has open heathland, woodlands, seven lakes, wetlands, and marshes - each with its own rich variety of plants and wildlife, some rarely seen in the region. Cattle and wild ponies graze on the land.

One of the biggest city parks in Europe. Contains a donkey sanctuary, golf courses, lakes, canoe clubs, several playgrounds, pubs, carveries, bistros, restaurants and a leisure centre with swimming pool. Great spot for a walk, run or just a spot to relax. The town centre entrance tends to be fairly busy but otherwise you can find peace and quiet here.
