The Craven Arms in Appletreewick is a well known gem of a place, 11 miles away. Good views, fine fayre and excellent walking territory.
The epitome of a traditional British pub, the Craven Arms has excellent food and often plays host to a number of events including, but not limited to, live music, a 1940's fete and even ferret racing!
An old historic pub that locals love and that serves honest and hearty pub food. You can sit outside on days when the weather is good and enjoy the views or head down hill and walk along the River Wharfe.
Lovely traditional pub great in winter when open fires are burning. Good pub food build into your trip to the Yorkshire Dales. Have a go at their bull ring game which is a hook that you have to swing a bullring at to try and hook the bullring onto the hook! Really quirky! Good pub grub. Would recommend
