$$/$$$ Reservations recommended. Hands down my favourite restaurant in the Cayman Islands. Located in an office complex downtown, The Brasserie is the epitome of slow food. They have an apiary and chicken coop, own fishing boats, and employ fishers and gardeners to bring in the fresh catch and produce from the greenhouse and urban garden. If they don't grow or catch it themselves they source from local farmers wherever possible. Check their Facebook page for daily specials and always order the grilled cheese share plate. Note: Closed on weekends.

Our personal favorite restaurant - off the beaten path and tucked away in the capital George Town - They are the original restaurant with a farm to table/sea to plate ethos and feature exotic seasonal local ingredients. Must try the Brasserie Grilled Cheese!

The Brasserie features farm to table dining and has a small greenhouse on site! If you ask they'll even give you a tour! The setting is beautiful and the food is divine. They have their own fishing boats and often have feature nights that follow various themes. Be sure to check their website for more information. This is a more expensive night out but is worth the splurge!
