The Atlantic Ocean is nearly 3 hours away but within an hour you can take in the Chesapeake Bay and Annapolis, a world class sailing capital (and Maryland's State Capital). There is no way to get there by transit but if you have a car and the weather is pleasant it's worth a side trip. Or let us know if you're interested and we can try to put together a trip with you. On the other side of the magnificent "Bay" bridge, we keep a 36' sailboat where we spend most weekends from late spring to early fall. Join us!

It's one of the most amazing views of one of the world's man-made wonders.. One of the longest and tallest bridges in the ara aka. the Golden Gate bridge of our area!

A drive across the bridge is always a beautiful sight. $6 to cross when you're heading east. No charge to return.
