Amazing cliff-top walks & views over the Port of Dover, across the English Channel and of Calais and the north coast of France.
Crowned by the mighty castle to the East, the steep chalk Cliffs are an unmissable sight. Start off from the Visitor Centre and meander your way to the centre to explore Fan Bay Deep Shelter, a remarkable network of tunnels built during WWII to protect soldiers from the artillery attacks above ground.
Lovely walk along the white cliffs, lots of different paths to take. Head to Langdon cliffs, upper road, Dover CT16 1HJ parking is available there
National Trust property and you pay £5 per car to enter. It has a cafe with amazing panoramic views of the channel. If you're feeling fit, take the 30-minute walk along the stunning coastal path to the Lighthouse and reward yourself with tea and scone.
