Usagiya

This small store produces one of the most classic Japanese treats, dorayaki—sweet red bean paste in a moist-but-firm pancake-like bread. It’s famous as the favorite food of cartoon character Doraemon, and Usagiya’s really taste like a traditional dorayaki should. Eat one and think to yourself, “Now this is dorayaki!” Usagiya is extremely popular, and sells out of dorayaki very quickly. You can make a reservation in advance, otherwise you should probably get there before they open at 9:30 am to guarantee you get one. The store is take out and cash only.
