A family favorite of ours & undoubtably worth the 1.5 drive to NY. The park offers a variety of trails with breathtaking views, cliffs, & falls.

The 21,106 acre preserve located on the Shawangunk Ridge is 2,000' above sea level, surrounded by rugged, rocky terrain. Waterfalls, lakes, forests, cliffs, ledges & visits, Bike, walk, or hike.:)

A nice hike and you can even swim in the lake.

One of my favorite NY state parks. It can get very busy on the weekends, so try coming early or on a weekday.
