This is a great National Park. It is it stretches over 100 miles of beautiful drive. Highest elevation is 3,680 feet. Has over 70 breathtaking overlooks to capture the scenery. There are couple of restaurants, picnic areas, natural hiking trails, horseback rides. It is a seasonal park, open from March 22 to November 25 in 2018. Best time to experience is when the leaves turn color in the fall season. There is a fee to enter the park. I believe it is $10 for a one week pass.

Skyline drive is so beautiful especial in fall, you can spend a whole afternoon just driving and enjoy the views.

We are a few miles from the Thornton Gap entrance, and close to miles and miles of trails. The view from the B&B is of the park.
